About Us

Welcome to the world of cycling.
Getting out on your brand spankin’ new bike… or just trying to figure out how to watch a race after seeing Tour de France: Unchained? Look, we’ve been there — no, actually, quite a few of us have. The world of cycling is a deep and complex one, and for most people, it’s something totally new. Luckily, we’re here to help you take your first steps.
CyclingScoop is a blog by cycling fans, for cycling fans.
Whether you’re new to riding, just getting into pro racing, already a cycling die-hard in your own right, or simply curious about some aspect or another of cycling, we welcome you! Here, we’ll break down the details and give them to you straight so that you can find out what you want to know about cycling — no nonsense. We’ll also share our excitement and tell all the stories that made us fall in love with this unique, wonderful sport! Along the way, we’ll make it easy to follow and understand, no matter your expertise level. That’s the guiding force behind one of our main principles: cycling that’s easy to understand for every fan.
Cyclists, want to know what you can read about here? Some of our favorite topics for amateur riders include:
- Training, including creating your own training plans
- Nutrition on and off the bike
- Guides for beginners and first-time bike purchases
- Just enjoying the beauty of cycling
- And much more!
For pro racing, CyclingScoop aims to break the mold. Pages of stats REALLY aren’t our style. Instead, we’ll bring you a mix of upbeat news and real, down-to-earth analysis from the world of professional cycling. Let’s go beyond mere race reporting and GET THE SCOOP on what’s going on in the peloton! We’ll highlight your favorite races and riders with fresh perspectives, new voices, in-depth stories, profiles, race or stage summaries, strategy, opinions, and beyond.
Doing our part to build community between cycling fans everywhere.
Most importantly: we don’t exist in a silo. We want to guide you to enjoying all the cycling fan community has to offer! Whether we’re showing you our favorite Substacks, recommending YouTube videos, or sharing must-follow accounts on social media, we’ll help you get plugged in to the broader landscape of cycling across the internet — so that even if this is your very first day as a cycling fan, you’ll already feel like an insider.
We believe in building a cycling community that advocates for the well-being and safety of all cyclists and uplifts underrepresented voices. CyclingScoop aims to spotlight businesses and individuals who make cycling a more welcoming, diverse sport.
However you found us, thank you so much for visiting CyclingScoop today! We hope you’ll visit again to enjoy more cycling news and content in the future.
